My Story (Scholarship Coaching)
From a young age, education was instilled as a cornerstone in my life. Raised in a community where opportunities were often limited, I knew that education would be my ticket to a brighter future. And so, with determination, I embarked on a journey through higher education, fueled by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and opportunity.

As a Scholarship Coach, I have dedicated myself to helping students achieve their dreams of higher education. My journey through college was not just academically successful but also financially prudent, and I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with others.
​
I understand the importance of education, having once walked in the same shoes as those I am privileged to guide. I have been to school back-to-back since high school debt-free, thanks to a mixture of scholarships, working on campus, and prestigious internships. I am a product of the Howard University Trio Program, DC-Tag, DC Last Dollar, Early College Program, DC Summer Youth Programs, and more.

But my journey didn't end with my own success. Inspired by my own experiences, I made it my mission to pay it forward and help others achieve their educational aspirations. I had the privilege of witnessing the transformative impact of education firsthand. I helped students gain admission to prestigious institutions, refined resumes for campus jobs and internships, and provided guidance and mentorship every step of the way. With over five years of experience as the Scholarship Chair for my alumni chapter in DC, I dedicated myself to supporting students in their pursuit of scholarships, reviewing over 60 applications, reading essays, and awarding scholarships to over 20 deserving recipients.

My journey as a Scholarship Coach has been fueled by a deep-seated passion for education and a commitment to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to pursue their dreams, regardless of their financial circumstances. With over a decade of experience and a heart full of dedication, I continue to strive towards my goal of helping students achieve their fullest potential, one scholarship at a time.
My Story (Accountability Coaching)
I am a proud Washingtonian who is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) while chasing my dreams with a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Liberty University. Now, let me take you on a little journey that led me to where I am today. My turning point? Well, it all started with my Doctorate Research Project (DRP) titled “THE IMPACT ON HOSPITALITY INDUSTRIES ORGANIZATION PERFORMANCE FROM THE LACK OF AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN IN EXECUTIVE.” Quite a mouthful, right? But it's more than just words – it's a revelation. During my DRP, I had some eye-opening conversations with amazing women. A powerful realization emerged: the key to resilience lies in unshakeable self-confidence. I learned that when one is confident in their identity, external opinions and behaviors lose their power to affect personal worth. This insight underscored the importance of embracing discomfort, as self-trust and an understanding of one's capabilities are essential on the path to success.

Fueled by the lessons from my DRP, I didn't stop at just research. I went on to create "Goal Get’em Girls!”. It's a powerhouse, a game-changer, designed to empower women to chase their goals like there's no tomorrow and bulldoze through any obstacles blocking their way. I’m on a mission, and it's crystal clear: that is sprinkle the wisdom I gathered and be the wind beneath women's wings. I am lighting the fire under women to own their confidence, trust their abilities, and show challenges who is boss as they march towards personal and professional success. In a nutshell, I’m your go-to guide, cheering you on to recognize your worth, smash through barriers, and hit your highest potential.

I see my business, Goal Get’em Girls!, as a conduit for consistently conveying the message that anything is possible for women, regardless of the challenges they may face. Through a diverse array of channels—speaking engagements, social media, journals, workshops, and events- I strive to emphasize that every woman out there, no matter where she is in life, knows she's got this inner power to turn dreams into reality. The title, "Goal Get’em Girls!", is not merely a phrase; it's a motivational chant designed to embolden women along their goal journey. I’m deeply invested in cheering on women to become the individuals they've always dreamed of being. With the resounding call of "Goal Get’em Girls!", I’m telling women to go after their goals like they're on a mission, armed with self-belief and a rock-solid plan. Barriers?
